Concrete is a unique material that is constantly evolving in its applications. It can become an intrinsic element in the landscape that is simple but elegant. We use concrete as a sculpture in the landscape that can be free standing or functional. The basic knee wall becomes a vertical element and backdrop to accent the color and texture of these grasses. We created this wonderful modern oasis in Denver with a little bit of everything , from a custom water feature that wraps around the entire upper patio, to floating concrete stairs that connect the two patios together. The beautiful gas driven fire feature can be seen from several rooms inside the house as well as the led lighting that highlights all of the custom features this landscape has to offer.
